1934
On 1 May the company Andreas Abele is founded as a haulage firm with a truck for milk collection.
1935
In this year Abele is awarded the first long-distance concession and is able to acquire a further truck. The then technological standard was an engine producing greenhouse gases with a charcoal carburettor.
1939-1945
During the Second World War emergency removals for people who had been bombed out of their homes were carried out in addition to milk transportation. Later, the vehicles and also Andreas Abele were confiscated by the Wehrmacht.
1974
In this year operations are handed over to the sons Heinz and Werner Abele.
1984
After 50 years, the anniversary of operations is celebrated in 1984. At this time the company had 9 employees and 7 vehicles. In the same year the name is changed to Heinz Abele, Nah- und Ferntransporte (Heinz Abele, local and long distance transport).
1991
With the son Uwe Abele the third generation enters the business. At the same time the change to Abele Spedition u. Transport GmbH (Abele Haulage and Transport) is undertaken.
2007/2008
We're moving: our new location offers us a much better infrastructure and is well suited to the future plans. In addition, there is the construction of a new, environmentally friendly modern warehouse with a 100 kWp photovoltaic array.
2009
Anniversary: 75 years of Abele haulage
